To Err is Human...

This Holy Thursday, I wanted to make a reflection on my sinful life and I came across this website where I am tested on how sinful I am. So I took the test and here are the results. "Bien, you're more sinful than the average person. And it's affecting your life in ways you might not realize. For one thing, if you aren't careful, your drive to excel at all costs may ultimately be your downfall. Feeling good about your successes might be a gratifying way to acknowledge your work and position in life. Still, you, in particular, should beware of prioritizing your achievements above other things and using them as a way to feel superior to others. If you continue to do so, you might find yourself jeopardizing the things that are most important to you." Oh well, It would be easy for me to admit that I am no angel but I aint going to Hell either. So I may either do a John Constantine and fight off the devils that possess others or better fight the demons that possess me. ...

Long Live the BROWN People!

Hmmm.... let me see.... Bayen Trademark Your true color is Brown! What's Your True Color? Brought to you by Tickle "Bien, your true color is Brown! You're brown, a credible, stable color that's reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you're a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you're probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you're constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it's by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart."

The True Face of Jesus

The Shroud of Turin Bayen Trademark Here is an excerpt from a website which analyzes the controversial Shroud of Turin. "If we want to believe that the Shroud is not genuine then we have to consider some basic questions. How did the faker of relics accomplish this and produce these pictures of Jesus. 1) How did a faker of relics alter the chemical properties of the carbohydrate coating to create the color and how did he do so with such artistic precision -- on both sides of the cloth? 2) The history of art is the story of the evolution of styles, techniques, methods and technology. Every work of art and fakery is no exception. Every form of art and craft has its precedents. When a new technique is discovered it is exploited. Over time every worthwhile technique is refined and improved. Where are the precedents for pictures such as those that we find on the Shroud? Where are the other works in this once-upon-a-time new-found technology? Are we to imagine that some genius invented a...
