Almost every body seems to be obsessed with the day Nov. 11, 2011 because of its 11/11/11 significance. The 6 1's can be quite superstitious for those who believe in superstition in the first place. The number 1 has its own meaning and symbolism for some people who are into numerology. Some say it has psychic properties or represents a channel to the subconscious, while others stress its inborn duality, kinda like the yin and yang, the good and evil that is both inherent in human nature. Throughout modern and ancient history the number 11 has become affiliated with a lot of events and personalities. The latest of course is the attack on the Twin Towers in New York at the 11th of September, the two towers resembling the number 11 themselves. World War 1 ended at the 11th hour of November 11 (1918), making it a triple 11 there just like today (11/11/11). For those adhering to the practices and beliefs of numerology, the number 11 is supposed to be the Master Number (The Life Path or Destiny so to speak).



However, just like any other day, Nov. 11, 2011 can come by as an ordinary day, without the hype brought about by superstition and craze. Perhaps it is not in the date that makes the day unique and special. It is what you do on that day that counts. It doesn't have to be 11/11/2011 or 12/12/2012 or 1/23/4567 AD if ever we endure to that day and time. You can choose to make any day as a day that you will remember, a day that is unique and different, a day of milestone-moments and life-changing turns. So let's make this triple 11 day a day worthwhile. Let's make 11 secret good deeds, hug 11 strangers today, smile 11 times and spend laughing moments with 11 of our dearest and closest friends.
