Janay...Janay........JUNE!

It's June. Not much. Just another reminder perhaps that I am about 2 months away from Judgement day. Reviewers, reviewers, reviewers. There are days that I feel like reviewing and there are days that I feel like just goofing around the house. Perhaps there is some disadvantage to reviewing here in Bacolod than probably elsewhere. There are a lot of distractions here. But I have already recomitted myself to studying and perhaps giving more than enough attention to my reviews.

It is a tough thing this national boards. It is really a make or break situation. What happens if I fail? What happens if I won't make it? How will I handle failure? How will I handle success? The problem really is not so much as to how to pass the boards. The problem is, should indeed one not pass the boards, how will one handle the failure or this temporary setback? Unfortunately, we were not taught how to fail. We were only taught how to succeed in life, how to overcome the challenges and attain achievements. But when failures come and they often do, we are at a lost.

So, to perk up myself and perhaps learn from people on how to handle failures, here's a list of remarkable famous men, who once tripped themselves towards success but managed to get up and finish the race.

1)Peter Jennings, News Anchor - This ninth grade drop out has many honors in his field.

2)Richard Branson - is an enormously successful entrepreneur and founder of 150 enterprises that carry the Virgin name, such as Virgin Airlines. While he was younger, he had been identified to have learning difficulties.

Other famous people with learning difficulties during their childhood are:
3)Charles Schwab is the founder, chairperson, and CEO of the Charles Schwab Corporation, the largest brokerage firm in the U.S.

4)Princess Beatrice of England, daughter of Prince Andrew and fifth in line to the throne, speaks out about dyslexia.

5)Orlando Bloom, the popular English actor, played Legolas, the elf warrior in the film, Lord of the Rings.

6)Nelson Rockefeller served as governor of New York for 12 years and as Vice President of the United States under Gerald Ford.

7)Harvey Cushing, M.D. (1869-1939) a world renowned neurosurgeon, had dyslexia.

8)John E. Morgan, PGA champion, was bullied as a kid because of his learning disabilities.

Anyway, here's a youtube video that got itself in the news lately. This is hilarious
